We process personal data only where we have a valid legal basis under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable law. Depending on the context, processing may be based on one or more of the following:
3.1 Consent
Where you have given us explicit consent. For example, when you agree to share your results with a particular institution or opt in to receive newsletters. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out.
3.2 Contractual Necessity
Where processing is required to fulfill a contract with you, such as providing you with access to assessments, generating your results, or enabling you to use Platform features.
3.3 Legal Obligations
Where we must process data to comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements in relevant jurisdictions, such as responding to lawful requests by authorities or fulfilling data retention obligations.
3.4 Legitimate Interests
Where processing is necessary for our legitimate business purposes, provided these do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms. Our legitimate interests include:
Facilitating and improving the assessment process for individuals and institutions.
Sharing anonymized benchmarks and aggregated insights to improve psychometric validity.
Managing our relationship with Users and Customers.
Securing and maintaining the Platform.
Preventing fraud, misuse, or illegal activity.
Advancing research and innovation aligned with our mission of psychological growth and individuation.
4. With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Data?
We value transparency and believe Users should always know where their data goes. We only share personal data where it is necessary, lawful, and aligned with the purpose for which it was collected.
4.1 Institutions and Professionals (Customers)
If you were invited by an institution, organization, or professional to complete an assessment, your results and related information will be shared with that Customer, as this is necessary to fulfill the purpose of your participation.
You remain the owner of your personal results.
Institutions receive access rights for the duration of their agreement with us, but do not gain ownership over your personal data.
4.2 Research and Development Contributors
We may share aggregated, anonymized feedback with test authors, psychologists, or researchers to improve assessment tools and frameworks. Such information cannot be traced back to you as an individual.
4.3 Suppliers and Service Providers
We use trusted third-party providers to deliver parts of our Services, such as hosting, communications, analytics, and technical support. These providers only receive the data necessary for their tasks and are bound by strict confidentiality and security obligations.
4.4 Legal and Regulatory Requirements
We may disclose personal data where required to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and integrity of our Users, Customers, or Platform.
4.5 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets, your personal data may be transferred as part of the business continuity process. In such cases, we will ensure that protections equivalent to this Policy remain in place.
5. Safety and Security
We take the protection of your personal data seriously, both technically and ethically. Envision Your Evolution uses a layered approach to security that protects information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
5.1 Technical Safeguards
Encryption: All personal data is encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest.
Authentication: Access to accounts and sensitive data requires secure login credentials; multi-factor authentication may be required for institutional accounts.
Infrastructure: Our servers are hosted in secure environments within the European Economic Area, using providers that meet international security standards.
5.2 Organizational Measures
Only authorized employees, contractors, or service providers with a legitimate need-to-know may access personal data.
All personnel handling data are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Regular audits and monitoring are performed to ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection laws.
5.3 Shared Responsibility
While we implement strong safeguards, security is also a shared responsibility:
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials private and secure.
You should remain cautious of phishing or unauthorized requests for your data.
If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, notify us immediately.
5.4 Commitment to Safety Beyond Technology
Because our Services deal with psychological and personal growth data, we also recognize the importance of psychological safety. Protecting your privacy is not only about compliance — it is about creating an environment of trust, where transformation can happen without fear of exposure or misuse.
6. Your Rights
As an individual, you are not just a participant in our Platform — you remain the owner of your personal data. Under the GDPR and data protection law, you have the following rights:
6.1 Access
You can ask us whether we are processing your personal data and, if so, request a copy of the data we hold about you, along with details about how it is used.
6.2 Correction
You can request that we correct or complete any personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
6.3 Erasure (“Right to Be Forgotten”)
You can request that we delete your personal data in certain situations — for example, if it is no longer needed for the purposes it was collected. (There may be exceptions where we are legally required to retain some information.)
6.4 Restriction
You can ask us to temporarily restrict the processing of your data — for example, while we verify its accuracy or investigate a concern.
6.5 Portability
You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format and, where technically feasible, request that we transfer it directly to another service provider.
6.6 Objection
You can object to the processing of your personal data where it is based on legitimate interests. We will stop processing unless we have overriding legal grounds. You may also object at any time to your data being used for direct marketing.
6.7 Complaints
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with the law.
7. Third-Party Applications, Websites, and Services
Our Platform may contain links to third-party applications, websites, or services. Please note:
This Privacy Policy applies only to Envision Your Evolution.
We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of any third parties.
If you choose to interact with, authorize, or share information through a third-party application, website, or service, that relationship is governed by the third party’s own terms and privacy policy.
We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any third-party services you use, especially before granting them access to your personal data.
If you allow a third-party app, website, or service to access your E.Y.E. account, you do so at your own risk.
8. How Long Do We Keep Your Data?
We keep your personal data only for as long as it is necessary to provide the Services, meet legal obligations, and protect the integrity of our Platform. After that, your data is securely deleted or anonymized.
8.1 Standard Retention
Identifiable assessment data (e.g., name, email address, test scores, and open-ended responses) is retained for up to 2 years to allow institutions and Users to access historical records and outcomes.
Webcam images or video recordings (if used during assessments) are retained for up to 6 months as part of fraud-prevention and validity checks.
8.2 Anonymized Data
After retention periods expire, personally identifiable information is deleted. However, anonymized or aggregated data (such as test scores, benchmarks, or psychometric patterns) may be kept indefinitely for research, validation, and service improvement. This data cannot be traced back to you as an individual.
8.3 Exceptions
Data may be stored longer if:
Required by law or regulation.
Needed to resolve a dispute or investigate potential violations of our Terms of Service.
Subject to an ongoing legal request or government inquiry.
9. Where Your Information Is Stored and Transferred
9.1 Primary Storage
Your personal data is stored on secure servers located within the European Economic Area (EEA). We prioritize EU-based storage to ensure your information benefits from the strong protections provided under GDPR.
9.2 International Transfers
In some cases, your data may be transferred outside the EEA — for example, when we work with trusted service providers or sub-processors located in other jurisdictions.
Whenever this occurs, we ensure that:
A valid transfer mechanism is in place, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
Supplementary technical, organizational, and legal measures are adopted where necessary to guarantee equivalent protection.
You retain the same enforceable rights and remedies as you would within the EEA.
9.3 Safeguards
Before any transfer takes place, we carry out a data transfer impact assessment and only proceed if the receiving country or provider offers protections that meet GDPR standards.
By using our Platform, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence under these safeguards.
10. Children
Our Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 16.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 16 without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete that data promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update or amend this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Updates will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
For material changes, we will also notify you through the Platform or via email (where appropriate).
We encourage you to review this Policy regularly so you remain informed about how we protect your personal data.
Changes take effect once posted, unless otherwise required by law.
